The author solves the following one-dimensional nonlinear Burgers' equation \[ u_t + uu_x - \nu u_{xx}= 0, 0 < x < 1, t >0 \] subject to the initial and boundary conditions \[ u(x,0) = \sin(\pi x), u(0,t) = u(1,t) = 0 \] by using the Adomian decomposition method. This method was introduced by \textit{G. Adomian} [Nonlinear stochastic systems and application to physics. Mathematics and Its Applications, 46. Dordrecht (Netherlands) etc.: Kluwer Academic Publishers Group (1989; Zbl 0659.93003)] to solve functional equations. Here, the author provides a sufficient condition of convergence for the nonlinear Burgers' equation. The approximate solution of this equation is calculated in the form of a series. The accuracy of the proposed method is examined by comparing it with other analytical and numerical results.
