\textit{M. Amyari} and \textit{Gh. Sadeghi} [Nonlinear analysis and variational problems. In Honor of George Isac. Berlin: Springer. Springer Optimization and Its Applications 35, 13--22 (2010; Zbl 1198.46055)] proved a Mazur-Ulam type theorem in non-Archimedean strictly convex 2-normed spaces. In this paper the authors study the Mazur-Ulam theorem in non-Archimedean convex 2-normed spaces without the assumption of the strict convexity. The interested reader is referred to \textit{M. S. Moslehian} and \textit{Gh. Sadeghi} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 69, No.~10 (A), 3405--3408 (2008; Zbl 1160.46049)] for an original result in the framework of non-Archimedean normed spaces.
