Let \(X : M^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n+1}_{s}\) be an immersed hypersurface in the \((n+1)\)-dimensional Euclidean space for \(s=0\) or an immersed space-like hypersurface in the \((n+1)\)-dimensional Lorentz-Minkowski space for \(s = 1\). A hypersurface \(M^{n}\) is called a \(\lambda\)-translator if there exist a constant unit vector \(V\in \mathbb{R}^{n+1}_{s}\) and a constant real number \(\lambda\) such that \[ {H} = V^{\perp} + \lambda N, \] where \({H}\) is the (unnormalized) mean curvature vector of \(X\) and \(N\) denotes the unit normal vector. The paper investigates rigidity properties of \(\lambda\)-translators. For example, under suitable conditions on the squared norm of the second fundamental form and the mean curvature, a complete \(\lambda\)-translator is either a space-like hyperplane or a cylinder (for \(s=0\)) or a right hyperbolic cylinder (for \(s=1)\); when a \(\lambda\)-translator has constant mean curvature, then it is either a space-like hyperplane or a product of a CMC space-like hypersurface in \(\mathbb{R}^{n}_{s}\) and \(\mathbb{R}\) in the direction of \(V\); and when a \(\lambda\)-translator is a graph with bounded gradient and second fundamental form with constant norm then it is a space-like hyperplane.
