To gain more insight into the cross-talk between both pathways at the transcriptional level, gene-expression patterns were monitored under various experimental conditions using 118 GeneChip (Affymetrix) microarrays. To construct a genetic regulatory network in Wille et al. (2004), the interventional dataset focusses on 40 genes, 16 of which were assigned to the cytosolic pathway, 19 to the plastidal pathway and five encode proteins located in the mitochondrion. | |||
