The authors consider a process of solar radiation transfer in a flat cloud layer modelled by appropriate integral equations. Monte Carlo methods are implemented. Two approaches are considered and compared: direct simulation and weighted algorithm. The last one demonstrates greater efficiency, e.g., through a gain in computational cost in all considered cases.
