Let P be an irreducible homogeneous polynomial in n complex variables (n\(\geq 2)\) with real coefficients. The author proves that if two holomorphic functions in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) are eigenfunctions of the differential operator P(D) with the same eigenvalue, and if they agree on the zero set \(\{z\in {\mathbb{C}}^ n: P(z)=0\}\), then they are identically equal.
