Unabhängig von anderen Autoren (siehe etwa \textit{S. Chowla}, \textit{M. Dunton} and \textit{D. J. Lewis} [Norske Vid. Selsk. Forhdl. 33, 37--38 (1960; Zbl 0096.25903)]) beweist Verf. auf eigenem, neuem Wege, daß die Titelgleichung nur die fünf Lösungen für \(n=3, 4, 5, 7, 15\) hat. Er gebraucht die kubischen Zahlkörper \(K\left(\root 3\of 7\right)\) und \(K\left(\root 3\of 28\right)\), welche sich dabei als etwas vorteilhafter erweisen als der quadratische \(K(\sqrt{-7})\).
