Consider a finite projective plane P. A spread is a collection of mutually disjoint lines whose union is P, and a packing is a partition of the lines of P into spreads. Two packings are called orthogonal if any two of their spreads have at most one line in common. In this paper it is shown that for \(m\not\equiv 2(mod 3)\), \(m\geq 3\), there exists a pair of orthogonal packings of the projective plane \(PG_{2m-1}(2)\) of odd degree over GF(2).
