Using his previous results [Sib. Mat. Zh. 22, No.4, 23-51 (1981; Zbl 0472.35029); Izv. Sib. Otd. Akad Nauk SSSR, Ser. Tekhn. Nauk 13, No.3, 25- 33 (1979); preprint (1979)] the author proves the uniqueness of the solution of an initial-boundary value problem for the quasilinear system of equations of gas dynamics.
