The author tries to invert globally a mapping f from \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) into \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) whose derivative is invertible everywhere, by using a diffeotopy between f and a linear transformation. A central argument however, used in two of the three theorems, is wrong: the first equation on page 380 is wrong.
