Synthesis of fuzzy controllers that achieve linguistic performance objectives (Q5926837): Difference between revisions

The paper considers the control of a closed-loop feedback system described by a fuzzy relational equation, i.e., of a system where the input, the states and the output are linguistic variables. A theorem about obtaining the fuzzy relation of this system is derived. Using the theorem, a new design procedure of a fuzzy controller is proposed to produce the desired behavior for the closed-loop system. An example is used throughout the paper to illustrate the concepts and the design procedure of the controller.
