The authors obtain some properties of the minimal speeds of pulsating Fisher-KPP fronts in one-dimensional periodic media. The RD system in question includes ``heterogeneities'' (i.e. space-dependent coefficients) in a similar way as the Shigesada-Kawasaki-Teramoto does. The limit of the speeds at the homogenization limit is proved rigorously.
