Let \(H_0\) be the one-dimensional Schrödinger operator \(H_0= p^2+V\), \(V(x)\sim|x|^\alpha\), \(\alpha> 2\) for \(|x|\to\infty\). Consider \(H_0+ \varepsilon P(\omega t)\) for \(\varepsilon\) small, where time quasi-periodic perturbation \(P\) may grow as \(|x|^\beta\), \(\beta< \frac{\alpha-2}{2}\), and the frequency vector \(\omega\) is nonresonant. The authors eliminate by KAM methods the time dependence in a class of linear differential equations in \(\ell^2\) subject to an unbounded, quasi-periodic forcing \(P\). For this they use Kuksin's estimate of solutions of homological equations with nonconstant coefficients.
