    Let \(\Omega\subset \mathbb R^n\) \((n=2,3)\) be an unbounded domain with a smooth bounded boundary \(\Gamma_0\). Let \(\Gamma\subset\Omega\) be a smooth surface dividing \(\Omega\) into two subdomains: a bounded interior domain \(\Omega^-\) with \(\partial\Omega^-=\Gamma_0\cup\Gamma\) and an unbounded exterior domain \(\Omega^+\) with \(\partial\Omega^+=\Gamma\). The following stationary coupled problem is considered \[ \begin{aligned} &-\nu\Delta v^- +(v^-\cdot\nabla) v^-+\nabla p^-=f,\quad \text{div}\, v^-=0 \quad \text{in } \Omega^-,\\ &v|_{\Gamma_0}=0,\\ &-\nu\Delta v^+ +(v_{\infty}\cdot\nabla) v^++\nabla p^+=0,\quad \text{div} v^+=0\quad \text{in }\Omega^+,\\&\lim_{|x|\to\infty}v^+=v_{\infty}, \quad v^-=v^+\quad \text{on }\Gamma,\\ &-p^-\overline n+\nu\frac{\partial v^-}{\partial\overline n}- \frac 12 (v^-\cdot\overline n)v^-= -p^+\overline n+\nu\frac{\partial v^+}{\partial\overline n}- \frac 12 (v_{\infty}\cdot\overline n)v^+ \quad \text{on }\Gamma, \end{aligned} \] where \(\overline n\) denotes the unit outer normal to \(\partial\Omega^-\) on \(\Gamma\). The existence of a weak solution is established.
