Following \textit{J.-F. Mestre} [Courbes elliptiques de rang \(\geq 11\) (resp. \(\geq 12\)) sur \(\mathbb{Q}(t)\), C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 313, 139-142 (1991; Zbl 0745.14013), resp. 171-174 (1991; Zbl 0749.14026)] and \textit{K. Nagao} [An example of elliptic curves over \(\mathbb{Q}(t)\) with rank \(\geq 13\), Proc. Japan Acad., Ser. A 70, 152-153 (1994; Zbl 0848.14015)], the author gives an elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}(t)\) of rank at least 14 by exhibiting 14 independent points.
