The automorphism group of certain radical matrix rings (Q5949390): Difference between revisions

Let \(K\) be an associative ring with identity and \(J\) an ideal of \(K\). Denote by \(NT_n(K)\) the algebra consisting of all lower nil-triangular \(n\times n\) matrices over \(K\), and \(M_n(J)\) the ring of all \(n\times n\) matrices over \(J\). The aim of this paper is to describe the automorphism group of \(R_n(K,J):=NT_n(K)+M_n(J)\) under some hypotheses. In particular, for a prime \(p\), the order of \(\Aut R_n(\mathbb{Z}_{p^m},(p^d))\) is given.
