The author obtains necessary conditions for the existence of (signed) weak solutions for the singular inequalities on the Heisenberg group: \({{-| \xi| ^2_{H}}\over {\psi}} \Delta_H (au) \geq | u| ^q,\) on \(I\!\! H^n \setminus\{0\}\) \; \(u_t -{{| \xi| ^2_{H}}\over {\psi}} \Delta_H (au) \geq | u| ^q,\) and \(u_{tt} -{{| \xi| ^2_{H}}\over {\psi}} \Delta_H (au) \geq | u| ^q\) on \(I\!\! H^n \setminus\{0\} \times (0, + \infty).\) The first inequality is shown to admit no nontrivial weak solutions if \(q>1.\) Then the author finds necessary conditions for the second inequality to admit nontrivial weak solutions in the ranges \(1<q \leq 3\) and \(q>3.\) In both cases the conditions involve limit values of integrals over annuli, resp. discs, involving the initial value of \(u.\) For the last inequality, he finds conditions that follow his results for the second equation, in particular, the initial value of the derivative \(u_t\) a \(t=0\) is not relevant. In the case of the evolution equations, easy to check decay conditions at infinity for the initial datum for \(u\) are obtained as corollaries. These decay conditions are independent of the dimension. The technique of proof is based on the use of clever test functions. Remarks show how to adapt the proofs to certain weaker assumptions.
