A single server M/G/1-queue with infinite waiting room is considered. The queueing system includes vacation and setup times. For six different devices for the onset of vacations and the number of customers being served during one cycle (= time interval between two consecutive vacations) performance measures are determined: the stationary distributions of cycle times, of waiting times, and of queue lengths. The dependence of moments of these distributions from the queueing process parameters is investigated and the relations of these moments between the six disciplines are studied.
