    Let \(A\) denote the class of functions \(f(z)= z+\sum^\infty_{n= 2} a_nz^n\) analytic in \(E= \{z:|z|< 1\}\). Theorem: Let \(f\in A\), \(f(z)\neq 0\) in \(0<|z|< 1\), and let \(g\in A\) be bounded in \(E\) and satisfy \[ m= \inf\Biggl\{\Biggl|{g(z_2)- g(z_1)\over z_2- z_1}\Biggr|: z_1,z_2\in E\Biggr\}> 0. \] If moreover \[ \Biggl|\Biggl({z\over f(z)}- {z\over g(z)}\Biggr)''\Biggr|\leq K\quad (z\in E), \] where \(K= {2m\over M^2}\), \(M= \sup\{|g(z)|: z\in E\}\), then \(f\) is univalent in \(E\). If \(g(z)= z\) then we get Corollary: If \(f\in A\), \(f(z)\neq 0\) in \(0<|z|< 1\) and if \[ \Biggl|\Biggl({z\over f(z)}\Biggr)''\Biggr|\leq 2\quad (z\in E), \] then \(f\) is univalent in \(E\). The result is sharp.
