This article is concerned with impulsive hybrid systems which are studied on time scales. The authors examine several notions of practical stability, which are useful when the system under consideration is unstable but the instability is acceptable from a practical viewpoint (for instance, when oscillations occur sufficiently near of the equilibrium). Sufficient conditions are obtained for practical stability in terms of cone-valued Lyapunov functions and the comparison principle.
