The main result of this interesting paper states that, for a Baire generic diffeomorphism \(f\) in the Newhouse domain \(N\), the inequality \[ P_{n_i}(f)> a_{n_i} \] holds for some \(n_i\to\infty\) with \(i\to\infty\), where \(P_n(f)\) denotes the number of (isolated) \(n\)-periodic points and \(a_{n_i}\) are elements of a subsequence of any sequence of numbers.
