More on Kleinewillinghöfer types of flat Laguerre planes (Q927800): Difference between revisions

\textit{B. Polster} and \textit{G. F. Steinke} [Result. Math. 46, No. 1--2, 103--122 (2004; Zbl 1065.51012)] determined the possible Kleinewillinghöfer types of flat Laguerre planes. In the present article the author excludes three more types with respect to Laguerre homotheties from the list given in the article mentioned above. Section 2 of this paper gives a summary of facts about flat Laguerre planes. In Section 3 the author defines Kleinewillinghöfer types and briefly reviews the results on these types for flat Laguerre planes. The next section shows how father types with respect to Laguerre homotheties can be excluded and gives an updated list of possible combined Kleinewillinghöfer types. The last section gives characterizations of Artzy-Groh planes and ovoidal planes in terms of Kleinewillinghöfer types.
