The authors study the stochastic scattering problem of Helmholtz type with an additive white noise \[ \begin{gathered} \Delta u(x)+k^{2}u(x)=-f(x)-\dot{W}(x),\;x\in\mathbb{R}^{d}\backslash\Omega,\\ \frac{\partial u(x)}{\partial n}=g(x),\;x\in\partial\Omega,\\ \lim_{r\rightarrow\infty}r^{(d-1)/2}(\frac{\partial u}{\partial r} -iku)=0,\;r=| x|. \end{gathered} \] Here \(\Omega\) is a bounded convex domain with smooth boundary of \(\mathbb{R}^{d}\;(d=2,3),\) the source term \(f+\dot{W}\) has compact support belonging to \(\Omega_{1}\backslash\Omega\) \(\;(\Omega\) \(\subset\Omega_{1}).\) The finite element method and the discontinuous Galerkin method are developed for the problem. Convergence analysis and error estimates are presented.
