Generic representations of \(\text{GL}_N\) and near local fields. (Q5929350): Difference between revisions

Let \(K\) and \(K'\) be two non-archimedean local fields which are \(n\)-near. The author compares representations (over \(\mathbb C)\) of \(\text{GL}_N(K)\) and \(\text{GL}_N(K')\) which are smooth enough. More precisely he proves that the Hecke algebras of \(\text{GL}_N(K)\) with respect to the Iwahori congruence subgroup of level \(n\) and its \(K'\) analogue are isomorphic, and this in a unique fashion.
