The existence of monotone travelling and standing wave solutions of a one-dimensional RTD-based cellular neural network is studied, where the equation also incorporates constant thresholds terms. By applying monotone iteration techniques among with the concept of upper and lower solutions, the authors classify monotone travelling and standing wave solutions for various parameter regimes. Additional numerical examples are also provided in the article.
