In this paper the Riesz means \(R_{\lambda,t}\) of order \(\lambda\) of the inverse Fourier integral associated with convex domains \(\Omega\subset\mathbf R^2\) with no extra smoothness assumptions on the boundary are studied. For this, a version of upper Minkowski dimension \(\kappa_\Omega\) of the boundary is introduced. Thus, the main result of the paper reads as follows: Suppose that \(1\leq p\leq\infty,\) \(\lambda>0\) and \(\lambda>\kappa_\Omega(4|1/p- 1/2|-1).\) Then \(R_{\lambda,t}\) is bounded on \(L^p(\mathbf R^2).\) This result as well as the other results of the paper are intimately related to many well-known estimates of linear means (the list of references is quite detailed). Mention those by A. Podkorytov who was apparently the first who started a systematic study of the problems of Fourier Analysis related to convex domains with no extra smoothness assumptions on the boundary.
