The authors consider the following system of ordinary differential equations \[ -(y_{j})''+q_{j}y_{j}= \sum_{k=1}^{n}\lambda_{k}r_{jk}y_{j},\qquad j=1,\dots,n, \] where the real-valued and continuous functions \(q_{j}, r_{jk}\) on \([0,1]\) subject to the boundary conditions \[ y_{j}'(0)=y_{j}(0)\cot\beta_{j}, \] \[ b_{j}y_{j}(1)d_{j}y_{j}'(1)=e_{j}^{\top}\lambda(c_{j}y_{j}'(1)-a_{j}y_{j}(1)),\qquad j=1,\dots ,n,\;\lambda=(\lambda_{1},\dots ,\lambda_{n}), \] are complex. Results are given on the existence and location of the eigenvalues and the completeness and oscillations of the eigenfunctions.
