The author provides a sufficient condition for a transversally orientable codimension one minimal foliation without vanishing cycles to be without holonomy, precisely, if the fundamental group of each leaf of it has the same polynomial growth of a degree \(k\in \mathbb{N}\). He underlines that the minimality condition is necessary by giving an example of a foliation satisfying all the other conditions except this one and which has non trivial holonomy.
