Let \(\mathcal P(\omega)\) be the power set of \(\omega:=\{0,1,2,\ldots\}\), topologically identified (via characteristic functions) with the Cantor space; moreover, let \(\mathcal I\) be a proper and uniform \(F_\sigma\)-ideal on \(\omega\) (i.e., \(\mathcal I\) is a proper \(F_\sigma\)-subset of \(\mathcal P(\omega)\) containing all singletons, closed under finite unions and taking subsets). Using results by \textit{M. Talagrand} [Studia Math. 67, No.1, 13--43 (1980; Zbl 0435.46023)] and by \textit{K. Mazur} [Fund. Math. 138, No.2, 103--111 (1991; Zbl 0746.04004)], the authors extend Lunina's theorem ---relative to convergence and divergence sets of real continuous functions defined on a metric space--- by replacing ordinary convergence with \(\mathcal I\)-convergence.
