Implicit Runge-Kutta methods for initial value problems \(y'=f(t,y)\), \(y(0)=y_ 0\) are studied. B-convergence resulting from Lobatto IIIC schemes is presented. In particular, these schemes with more than two stages are (are not) B-convergent if \(m<0\) \((m>0)\) where m is the Lipschitz constant of f.
