A classical problem concerning the reaction between a gaseous oxidant and a solid porous fuel, including the effects of consumption of the solid fuel of a poisoning of a solid catalyst, is studied numerically in this paper. The initial boundary value problem is presented in Section 2, while the numerical solution with the corresponding results---mostly given in diagrams---are examined in sections 3 and 4.
