The purpose of this paper is to study weak solutions of a fourth order Hamiltonian system. The main theorem states that this system with a certain constraint has infinitetly many nontrivial weak solutions. The proofs use a variational approach with matrix eigenvectors, Hilbert space, Frechet derivative, strong convergence, and generalized mountain pass theorem.
