The purpose of the paper is to characterize the one-phase region for the one-dimensional lattice systems of continuous and unbounded spins. The key of the analysis is the derivation of the decay for the spin-spin correlation function, by extending the Zegarlinski and Yoshida approach to the case of infinite-range interaction. One arrives to the conclusion that, under some conditions on the interaction decays, the infinite-volume Gibbs measure is unique.
