Let \(G\) be a semisimple Lie group with trivial center and without compact factors and let \(\Gamma\) be an arithmetic lattice in \(G\). In this paper lattices \(\Gamma\) of \(\mathbb Q\)-rank 1 and the corresponding locally symmetric spaces \(\Gamma \setminus G/K\) (where \(K\) is a maximal compact Lie subgroup in \(G\)) are considered. The authors define with the aid of group (co)homology and hyperbolic geometry invariants in algebraic K-theory and in an analogue of the Bloch group for such lattices \(\Gamma\) and corresponding locally symmetric spaces. Then they consider Bloch invariants in \(\mathrm{SU}(2,1)\) and \(\mathrm{SL}(2, \mathbb C)\) and also invariants for convex projective 3-manifolds and for some geometric structures on hyperbolic 3-manifolds.
