Es wird eine Quadraturformel der Gestalt \(\int^{1}_{-1}f(x)dx\approx \sum^{N}_{n=1}(a_ nf(x_ n)+c_ nf''(x_ n))\) hergeleitet, die für alle Polynome f(x) mit Grad \(\leq 2N+1\) exact ist. Der Autor benützt für Koeffizienten und Stützstellen das \((N+1)\)-te Legendrepolynom und seine Ableitung; er verweist zugleich darauf, daß sich seine Formel als Linearkombination einer klassischen Lobatto- Quadraturformel mit einer Quadraturformel von \textit{A. K. Varma} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 97, 38-40 (1986; Zbl 0599.41049)] ergibt.
