The aim of this paper is the construction of a functional calculus for an \(n\)-tuple of non-commuting selfadjoint operators. This is done by the use of several hypercomplex function theories. First, a monogenic functional calculus (developed by V.\,Kisil) is described. The author then carefully generalizes these results to the case of null-solutions of \(D-\lambda\) (\(\lambda\in\mathbb{C}\)), \(k\)-monogenic functions, null-solutions of the operators \((D-\lambda)^m\), \((D-\lambda_1)\dots(D-\lambda_n)\) (\(\lambda_i\in\mathbb{C}\), \(i=1,\dots,m\)) and \((D^n+ b_1D^{n-1}+\cdots +b_n)\); \(b_i\in\mathbb{C}\), \(i=1,\dots,m\). The paper paves the way to more general calculi.
