The authors consider a generalized Riemann mapping from the open unit disc onto a bounded convex region. The main technique is the use of an analytic dilatation. The authors replace an analytic dilatation by an appropriate Blaschke product, which allows them to study the behavior of the boundary function using zeroes of the Blaschke product. The results answer a couple of questions posed by \textit{R. S. Laugesen} [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 56, No. 1, 37--48 (1997; Zbl 0892.30017)].
