Two realizations of Schrödinger operators on Riemannian manifolds (Q1018166): Difference between revisions

The author considers a Schrödinger type differential expression \(P=\Delta _M+V\) over a complete Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) with metric \(g\), where \(\Delta _M\) is the scalar Laplacian on \(M\) and \(V\) is a real-valued locally integrable function on \(M.\) Two self-adjoint realizations of \(P\) in \(L^{2}(M)\) are studied and their equality is shown, extending this way a result due to \textit{S.~Agmon} [Lect. Notes Math. 1159, 1--38 (1985; Zbl 0583.35027)].
