Wilansky asks whether \(c_ o\) is the only FK-AD-space X with \(X^{\beta}=\ell^ 1\). We prove that the answer is in the positive. More generally we prove that given a BK-AK-space Y whose \(\beta\)-dual \(Y^{\beta}\) is an AK-space, then every FK-AD-space X with \(X^{\beta}=Y^{\beta}\) must in fact be Y.
