This paper is motivated by the following papers: \textit{I. P. Stavroulakis}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 6, 389-396 (1982; Zbl 0488.34062), \textit{S. J. Wolf}, Ann. Math. Stat. 42, 912-918 (1971). The author studied the sufficient conditions under which the delay differential equation \[ tx'(t)+a(t)x(t)+b(t)f[x(t-p_ 1),x(t-p_ 2),...,x(t-p_ n)]=0 \] is oscillatory. The results can be improved by \textit{H. Onose}'s paper [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 8, 171-180 (1984)].
