    The author attempts a more reasonable definition for fuzzy \(\sigma\)- fields than is usually done and develops mathematical argument in favour of this definition; ''measure'' has been defined and its usual properties have been checked; it has been shown that fuzzy measure is a valuation. The author has given a fuzzy version of the well-known theorems of continuity from above and below.
