The author in this paper introduces a stochastic generalization of Lipschitz retracts, and applies it to the extension problems of Lipschitz, Hölder, large-scale Lipschitz and large-scale Hölder maps into barycentric metric spaces. The paper provides a general method for extending maps and gives an appropriate interpretation of work by J. R. Lee and A. Naor. Some examples of spaces which are adopted as the source space and the target space in the main extension lemma of the article are also presented.
