The problem ``given the fuzzy subsets \(A\subset U\), \(B\subset V\) and B'\(\subset V\) find all A'\(\subset U\) such that \(A'\circ (A\times B)=B'''\), where \(\circ\) denotes max-min composition and \(\times\) denotes Cartesian product, is investigated. The condition for the existence of a solution is shown and an analytical solution is given.
