A Dirac-harmonic map is a pair that couples a map between Riemannian manifolds with a nonlinear spinor field along that map [cf. \textit{Q. Chen, J. Jost, J. Li} and \textit{G. Wang}, Math. Z. 254, No.~2, 409--432 (2006; Zbl 1103.53033)]. The paper provides explicit examples of such maps (\(\varphi,\psi\)) between two Riemannian manifolds \((M,g)\) and \((N,g^{\prime})\), which are non-trivial -- in the sense that \(\varphi\) is not harmonic. For \(\dim M=2\), examples are produced, where \(\varphi\) is harmonic, but not conformal, and \(\psi\) is non-trivial.
