In this paper two classes of bent sequences, bent-based bent sequences and linear-based bent sequences, are defined, and algorithms for constructing sequences in these classes are given. Cardinality of the set of bent sequences are discussed. A conjecture that every bent sequence is either bent-based or linear-based is also presented.
