A fairly realistic autonomous predator-prey model is considered. Stability of nontrivial equilibrium points is studied in detail. In a special case an Andronov-Hopf bifurcation is calculated when the carrying capacity is increased. For a model with memory conditions stability is established and an Andronov-Hopf bifurcation is calculated when the delay is increased.
