    A nonlinear dynamical system is called a noninteractive if there exist a disjoint block partition of the input vector such that each component of the \(i\)th output block is influenced only by the components of the input block, \(i=1,2,\dots,I\). The \((I+ 1)\)th input block does not influence any output block. The book deals with noninteractive control with stability and via output-feedback. It has six chapters with an additional chapter on introduction. In the introduction, the author has defined the problems, development of the topic in the last two decades, and an overview of the remaining chapters. Mathematical prerequisites are given in the first chapter. In Chapter 2 the problem of achieving non- interaction and stability for linear systems is revisited in such a way to highlight the main features in common with the nonlinear case, an extensive treatment for nonlinear system in the next chapter. Chapter 4 deals with global problems. The problem of noninteracting control with local stability is given in Chapter 5. The last chapter is devoted to achieving interaction and stability via output-feedback. The material is well suited for graduate courses on control systems. The book is a valuable contribution.
