The authors analyse quasilinear systems of conservation laws [see \textit{K. O. Friedrichs}, Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 31, 123-131 (1978; Zbl 0379.35002)] constructed by means of generating potentials which are invariant under the space coordinate rotations. The unknown functions can be transformed according to the representation of group SO(3) or SO(2). To outline the idea of this paper, we give the titles of its sections: 1. The class of thermodynamically coordinated systems of conservation laws. Passage to Eulerian coordinates. 2. Systems of equations invariant under rotation and admitting an extra conservation law. 3. The system of equations of continuum mechanics.
