This paper treats iterative methods to solve linear algebraic equations with full matrices obtained from boundary value problems of potential theory representable by an integral equation. The Seidel method in boundary value problems for the Laplace equation that can be partitioned into subproblems with a second-order symmetry group and boundary value problems with a boundary surface of complex structure are discussed. The application is presented to the simulation of an electron-optical image converters problem.
