For all boundary modules of the Koszul complex of a monomial sequence \((m_1,\dots, m_n)\), the authors construct complexes called Taylor complexes. When the monomial sequence is a \(d\)-sequence, i.e. satisfies the condition \((m_1,\dots,m_i): m_{i+1}m_j= (m_1,\dots, m_i):m_j\) for every \(1\leq i<j\leq n\), then Taylor complexes are free resolutions of the boundary modules. The authors use the Taylor complex in order to obtain a free minimal resolution of the Rees algebra and the associated graded ring.
